<h2>Choosing Your Server Software</h2>
<p>The Software tab shows the game build your server is running. Left 4 Dead 2 only ships a single Public branch, so there's nothing to switch between — the tab is mainly there to trigger an update to the latest build. Saving a change here restarts your server automatically.</p>

<h2>Default Configuration</h2>
<p>Your server starts with a <code>server.cfg</code> file that includes an auto-generated RCON password, so you can connect with any RCON tool right away. Open it from the Files tab if you need to change server settings or retrieve that password.</p>
