Choosing your server software
The Software tab has a single option for Core Keeper: the Public branch. There's no beta or experimental channel to switch to — every server on the platform runs the same stable release. Software changes on this tab always require a restart before they take effect, and the panel will confirm that with you before applying it.
Managing your world save
Core Keeper doesn't get a dedicated World tab, so your save data lives in the File Manager alongside everything else. Before trying a new mod or making a risky config change, back it up — see Managing Backups & Restoring Your Server.
Next steps
Once your branch is set, check the Console tab for a clean startup. If you want to try installing mods, see Installing Mods on Core Keeper first — there's no automated mod manager for this game. Use Scheduling Automatic Server Tasks to automate restarts, and if you haven't ordered a server yet, start with Getting Started: Creating Your First Server.
