Choosing Your Server Software
On the Software tab you can pick which Arma 3 branch your server runs:
- Public (Main) — the standard, stable release most servers should run.
- Profiling (Performance) — built for server performance profiling and diagnostics.
- Release Candidate — pre-release builds for testing upcoming changes before they land on Main.
- Legacy Build — an older build, useful if your mods or mission haven't been updated for the current version.
Switching branches always requires a server restart to take effect — Spawnly shows a confirmation warning before you save.
For mission files, server configs, and logs, use the File Manager (Files tab), since Arma 3 doesn't have a dedicated World or Properties tab. For installing mods — including Steam Workshop and manually added mod folders — see Installing Mods on Your Arma 3 Server.
