Wheel of Pain Taming
The Wheel of Pain is a waiting game, and the wait varies enormously with tier, wheel type and who is turning the crank.
How this is calculated
Base conversion time depends on the thrall's tier, then gets modified by the wheel you use and by any taskmaster assigned to it. A tier four thrall on a lesser wheel with no taskmaster is a very different proposition from the same thrall on a greater wheel with a good one. The calculator combines all three so you can see the real time before committing.
The arithmetic
- seconds = (base seconds × taskmaster modifier) ÷ (wheel speed × crafting speed multiplier)
What people get wrong
Server settings override everything here. A server running a modified crafting speed multiplier will not match the base figures, so check that setting before planning around these numbers on someone else's server.
