Formato palworld
Identity

Shown in the community server list. Commas break the OptionSettings block, so avoid them entirely.

Description in the server list. Same rule — no commas.

The port players connect on. Must match the port your server is actually launched with.

Region tag for the server list. Leave blank to let it be detected.

Gameplay

Preset that sets several rates at once. None means the individual values below are used as written.

Experience multiplier. The game also accepts the six-decimal form it writes itself; a plain number works too.

How likely spheres are to catch a Pal. The most commonly raised setting on private servers.

Density of wild Pals. Raising this increases memory use noticeably — it is the setting most likely to make a server heavy.

How fast Pals work at your base.

Resources gathered from trees, ore and other nodes.

Item drops from defeated enemies.

Hours to hatch a large egg at default settings. Left at 72 most casual groups never see one hatch, which is why almost every private server lowers it.

Higher values make daytime pass faster.

Higher values shorten the night.

Damage players deal.

Damage players take. Higher means players are more fragile, not tougher.

Damage Pals deal.

Damage Pals take.

How fast player hunger drains. Note the spelling — the game misspells "decrease" and the file must match it exactly.

Player stamina drain. Same misspelling as above.

How fast Pals get hungry at base.

What you drop on death. All includes your Pals, which is harsher than most groups expect from the name.

Leave off for a dedicated server — this flag is for hosting from the game client, and setting it on a dedicated server causes confusing behaviour.

Enables player versus player combat.

Direct damage between players. Needed alongside PvP for it to have any effect.

Whether guild members can damage each other.

Raids on your base by wandering enemies.

Fast travel between unlocked statues.

Leaves your character in the world after you disconnect. Turning it on means logging out in a dangerous place can get you killed.

Whether base defences attack players from other guilds.

Lets other guilds loot what you drop on death.

World

Total base camps allowed on the server. Each one is persistent and costs memory, so this is a real performance lever.

Pals assignable to a single base. Raising it multiplies the AI the server simulates.

Base camps a single guild may own.

Items lying on the ground before the oldest are removed. Lowering it is one of the cheapest ways to reduce server load.

Hours a dropped item survives before despawning.

Damage structures take.

How fast structures decay over time. Set to 0 to disable decay entirely, which most private servers do.

How quickly gathered nodes come back.

Deletes guilds whose members have not logged in for a while. Their bases go with them.

Hours of guild inactivity before that reset triggers.

Players & Access

Hard player limit for the dedicated server. 32 is the supported ceiling; higher values are widely reported to destabilise the server.

Join password. Blank means anyone with the address can connect.

Required for in-game admin commands. Set this before opening the server to anyone.

Verifies players against the platform. Turning it off allows anyone to connect as anyone.

Maximum members per guild.

Publishes the connected player list to the server browser.

RCON & Query

Remote console. Leave off unless you need it, and never expose the port publicly.

RCON listening port.

HTTP admin API. Off by default, which is why external tools that rely on it cannot query most Palworld servers.

REST API port — a different number from the game port.

Keeps rolling backups of the save. Leave on; Palworld saves have been known to corrupt.

Shared ban list the server checks on join.
