<h2>Choosing Your Server Visibility</h2>
<p>Palworld doesn't have alternate version branches on the Software tab. Instead, you choose a server-visibility mode:</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Private Server (Direct Connect)</strong> — the default. Your server isn't listed publicly; players join by direct connection only.</li>
<li><strong>Community Server (Public)</strong> — broadcasts your server to the in-game server browser and to BattleMetrics, so it can be discovered by other players.</li>
</ul>
<p>Changing this setting requires a server restart to take effect, with a confirmation warning shown before you save.</p>
