Choosing Your Server Software
The Software tab offers three build options, which is unique to Garry's Mod on Spawnly:
- Standard (32-bit) — the original 32-bit Garry's Mod server build.
- x86-64 (64-bit) — the 64-bit build, recommended if you're running a heavily-modded server, since it gives the server process more memory headroom than the 32-bit build.
- Chromium — a build with an updated embedded browser engine, used for web-based in-game menus and UI panels that some addons rely on.
Switching between these requires a server restart, which the dashboard will confirm before applying.
