How this is calculated
Each fulfilled quota raises the next one by a growing amount, so the requirement compounds rather than climbing linearly. The calculator projects the quota forward so you can see which run is likely to be the one that ends the file.
The arithmetic
- projected = current scrap + (days left + overtime days) × average per day
- surplus = projected − quota
What people get wrong
Because the increase compounds, overshooting a quota early does not help later — the surplus does not carry, and the next target is set from the quota rather than from what you handed in. Bank what you need and keep the rest for the run that matters.
