Welcome to Spawnly! 🚀

Whether you are spinning up a private Palworld server for a few friends or launching a massive, modded Rust community, you are in the right place. Spawnly is built by gamers, for gamers, delivering high-performance hosting with a panel that actually makes sense.

This guide will walk you through the basics of the Spawnly platform so you can get your first server online in minutes.

1. Navigating Your Dashboard

Your Dashboard is the command center for your entire Spawnly account. From here, you can get a bird's-eye view of everything you own.

  • Active Servers: Instantly view the status, player count, and IP addresses of all your running servers.

  • Quick Actions: Start, stop, or restart your servers directly from the main list without having to dig through menus.

  • Resource Monitoring: Keep an eye on your overall CPU and RAM usage to ensure your communities are running smoothly.

Pro Tip: We highly recommend joining our Community Discord! It is the fastest way to get updates on platform maintenance and chat with other server owners.

2. Understanding Credits & Billing

Spawnly runs on a flexible, prepaid Credit System to ensure you only pay for what you actually use, alongside a standard Monthly Billing System.

  • Adding Credits: Navigate to the Billing tab to top up your account balance.

  • Hourly Billing: Some of our services draw from your credit pool incrementally. If you spin up a test server for 3 hours and then delete it, you only pay for those 3 hours!

  • Monthly Billing: For permanent communities, you can subscribe to fixed monthly plans. This guarantees your server resources are always reserved and provides a predictable flat rate, rather than pulling from your hourly credit pool. It's the perfect "set and forget" option for long-term hosting.

  • Pools: Check out the Pools tab to manage shared resources and funding options for your larger communities.

3. Deploying Your First Server

Getting a server online is incredibly simple.

  1. Click Create Server: Start directly from your dashboard.

  2. Select your Game: Choose from our growing library (Rust, Minecraft, CS2, ARK: Survival Ascended, Enshrouded, and more).

  3. Choose a Location: Pick the data center closest to your player base for the lowest possible ping.

  4. Allocate Resources: Select the amount of RAM your server needs based on your expected player count and mod list. (You can always scale this up later if needed).

  5. Deploy: Hit launch! Your server will automatically download the necessary files and boot up.

4. Exploring the Knowledge Base

You are currently reading this inside the Spawnly Knowledge Base. We built this hub to be your ultimate resource for server management.

If you ever get stuck trying to install Oxide on Rust, add plugins to Minecraft, or configure your server settings, check the Knowledge Base first! You can filter guides by specific games using the tags at the top of the hub.
