Browse and install from Steam Workshop
Unturned's Mods tab has a built-in Steam Workshop browser, so installing mods doesn't involve touching any files by hand.
- Open the Mods tab on your server.
- Search Steam Workshop for the map, item pack, or mod you want.
- Click Install — the item downloads to your server's Workshop content folder automatically.
- Restart your server for the change to take effect.
Uninstalling and what "installed" actually means
Removing a mod works the same way — find it in the Mods tab and uninstall, then restart. Spawnly doesn't track installed mods in a separate list; it reads whatever's currently in the server's Workshop content folder. If you ever want to double-check what's genuinely active on your server rather than what you remember clicking, the files on disk are the source of truth.
Not sure whether a mod loaded correctly? Check the Console tab after restarting — the Workshop content folder confirms what's installed, but the console log confirms what the server actually loaded at boot.
