The conversion rate

Credits are purchased with real money at a fixed rate: 1€ = 100 Credits. Credits have no monetary value outside the Spawnly platform and can't be withdrawn or exchanged back to cash.

Buying Credits

From the Credits & Billing page, buy a one-time top-up between €3 and €50 via the Buy Credits button. Larger purchases unlock a bonus:

Purchase amountBonus
€10 or more+5% Credits
€25 or more+10% Credits
€50 or more+20% Credits

Payments are processed securely by Stripe, including Apple Pay and Google Pay via express checkout.

How usage is deducted

  • Hourly servers (Minecraft only): 1 Credit per GB of allocated RAM, per hour, deducted in real time only while the server is Running.
  • Monthly servers (every other game): a flat Credit amount charged upfront when the server is created or renews, covering a fixed 30-day period.

Your transaction history on the Credits page groups related hourly usage into sessions, showing total runtime, effective rate, and total cost.

Negative balances

If your Credit balance goes negative, you have a 1-hour grace period before affected services are automatically stopped. Servers left stopped with no activity for over 30 days on an inactive, zero/negative-balance account may have their data permanently deleted.

Scaling a server up or down

Upgrading a monthly server's RAM immediately deducts the pro-rated Credit difference. Downgrading returns the difference as Credits to your balance — usable platform-wide, but not cashable or refundable to your card.
