Your server's address
Every server gets a free subdomain in the form {server-name}.spawnly.net — you don't need to configure anything or use a raw IP address. It's shown on the Overview tab in the Connection card, with a click-to-copy shortcut.
How it works behind the scenes
When your server is provisioned, Spawnly automatically creates a DNS A record pointing your subdomain at the server's IP address. For Minecraft servers, it also creates an SRV record (_minecraft._tcp.{subdomain}) — that's what lets Minecraft players connect using just the subdomain, without typing a port number.
For every other game, connect using the subdomain and the game's standard port together, exactly as you would with any server address.
If the address doesn't resolve right away
DNS changes can take a few minutes to propagate globally. If your subdomain doesn't connect immediately after your server finishes provisioning, wait a few minutes and try again before assuming something's wrong.
